NHS North Central London will not release information about a patient unless permission is obtained from the patient or his / her next of kin.

Interviewing Trust staff

The Communications Department should be the first point of contact for all journalists contacting NHS North Central London. Staff are advised to refer any direct approaches from journalists to the Communications Department. The Department understands media deadlines and can identify and contact the most appropriate staff member.

The aim is to provide a prompt response to all media requests within the realms of what is possible. Requests to interview or photograph patients must be made through the Communications Department.

Under no circumstances may interviews, filming or photography be carried out on Trust premises without the express permission of the Communications Department staff.

NHS Islington Annual General Meeting

NHS Islington is offering a public invite to any other interested parties to attend the annual general meeting on Wednesday September 21, 2011.

The event will be held at the Conference Hall, London Voluntary Resource Centre, 356 Holloway Road, N7 6PA and will run from 2 pm to 5 pm.

Anyone is welcome to come along and find out how NHS Islingotny has performed over the last year and what the plans are for moving forward into the new world of GP commissioning.

The agenda includes a presentation of the NHS Islington annual report, a presentation about Public Health successes in 2010/11 and a look to the future, a presentation on the Health and Wellbeing Board plans, and a chance to quiz our new clinical leaders and information on the next steps for the clinical commissioning group.
